Regarding art/science connections:

The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago has a permanent exhibit,
"IMAGING: The Tools of Science." It does not really have a connection to
art history, but it does consider links between science, technology,
medicine, and art (mostly animation, special effects, etc..). Museum of
Science and Industry, 5700 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60637.
(312)-684-1414.

The Art Gallery of Windsor has a fascinating temporary exhibition, "The
Miners Canary" that links visual art and medical science -- specifically
relating to breathing. It was developed by two artists and two scientists.
There is a small catalog that the gallery might send you. 3100 Howard
Av., Windsor, Ontario, Canada, N8X 3Y8. (519)-969-4494.

Also, I second Helen Glazer's recommendation for Barbara Stafford's book,
"Body Criticism."--a great book!
