I agree with mikie lewis completely.  We are using macs and
          filemaker db with one server and eight clients. One thing
          different we did was a physical inventory check before
          entering data from sheets so we knew what was there and of
          course what was missing.  a good data base program like
          filemaker and 4th d, allow one to easily configure the data
          in any way you want and you don't have to be a computer wiz
          to do it.
