For years my museum in southeastern Virginia has relied on PSA's, calendar
listings and feature articles in the daily papers to promote our events.
Paid advertisements have also been used spratically in newspapers and on
television. We are currently reevaluating this stratigy.

We are interersted in other non-profits that currently place paid
advertisements in the newspaper with calendar listings.  How often are these
adds placed: weekly, monthly, ...?  What days of the week are best for
placement? (programs are offered during the week and weekends)
