PART TIME POSITION AVAILABLE

Position:
Development Coordinator (new position)

Responsibilities:
Work with director to implement fundraising plan for corporation,
foundation, government and individual sources. Major responsibility for
membership development and individual giving.
Create and maintain systems for tracking grants, gifts, donor histories and
profiles. Prepare and submit grant applications, reports, financial
documentation and support materials. Coordinate
special events.

Requirements:
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong
organizational and administrative competence; ability to organize time
efficiently and handle more than one project at a time. Experience in
preparation of proposals for grants and individual gifts. Knowledge of
applicable computer programs including Word, Raiser’s Edge, and Excel.
Interest in contemporary art and artists a plus.

Schedule: Sixteen hours weekly, schedule to be determined
Salary: $20,000

Aljira is a not-for-profit visual art center that supports the work of
emerging and under-represented artists through its innovative exhibition
series and professional development programs.
