I totally agree.  Anne, I am 1 year out of college with a degree in museum studies and I wouldn't trade it for anything.  This is what I have wanted to do since I was 7 and I am doing it and I love it.  So many people loose hope and decide to go into something "safe", but they are miserable.  Yes, our field is not the highest paying or the most glamerous and yes, we have to work as hard sometimes even harder than we would like, but in the end, it is worth it.

Good for you for holding on to your dream, like so many of us did.
