Could someone please recommend current literature on interpreting historic homes.  

We are acquiring another site that will present many issues.  The contents are extremely valuable, yet the site must still be accessible to the public.  I'm looking for types of interpretation that get beyond merely roping things off.  (I guess these are issues in every historic structure!)
