Hello, my name is Kate Shugert and I am a student at the University of
Toronto, pursuing my Masters Degree in Museum Studies. As a part of the
final research paper for a class entitled 'Research Methods
Seminar,' I am required to make as many intercontinental contacts as
possible to further my research.

I am especially trying to contact someone working in Egypt about the
excavations at Alexandria and/or information about the Library of
Alexandria.

These contacts could be in the form of any information you could possible
provide as well as other names/email addresses of possible avenues of
research.

I will also be writing about how the Greeks and Romans interacted with
their own pasts as well as history that was ancient to them--how artefacts
were preserved, museums and libraries of the ancient world, treasuries,
and so on. I would greatly appreciate any feedback or ideas.

Thank you for your time!

Sincerely,

Kate Shugert
