I am a graduate student conducting thesis research on Native American
painters who worked during the New Deal in New Mexico. I am interested
to know if any of you have particular information about this topic, time
period or artists that I may be interested in. (Works in collections,
archival material, photographs, contacts, bibilographic references...) I
am also interested in identifying any additional Native artists who
worked during WPA and related programs. I have included the names of the
artists I have identified to date for your reference. I enjoy reading
the varied topics on this list and will value any help your collective
experience can provide.
