In response to an recent query about rubber feet, the
following is offered by Claudia Berg, our Curator of
     Exhibits:

"I would check with paleontology labs in museums, they
are always making casts of specimens and probably could
make you casts from their collections. For rubber feet
I would check retail store catalogs. I know our museum
store manager receives lots of very unique merchandise
catalogs. Call some zoos, I would guess they receive
store catalogs that have some amazing things in them.
Departments like US Fish & Wildlife might have casts of
prints, maybe they would allow you to make latex molds.
I know Minnesota Historical Society produced a hands
on exhibit with rubber pig's feet (that's right, rubber
pig's feet). They might have a source for you. Good
     luck."
