The comments that assume everyone is on-line or that any small museum should
be able to afford the basic computer, modem and "20 dollars a month" to
connect to the internet reflect a lack of awareness of the situations of
many small museums. That kind of money is a significant expense for many.
Additionally, many of these museums are run by volunteers who may not yet
feel comfortable with the internet. I also assume there are still many
communities without local access numbers, although this is fast changing.
