At the NWT ives here, we charge an extra $10.00 per image rush (normal fee $7.00 per image) But our system isn't run on a cost recovery basis. There is also the element of everybody ordering rush if it's too "cheap" - leaving you unable to complete your orders because there are so many rush ones.

Wearing my other hat as a professional photographer - %100 increase for rush from a lab is pretty standard out there in the "real" world. Same if you an architect going to the print shop to get drawings done rush etc. In fact many have %150 for extra-rush.

You need to consider how taking rush orders interupts your standard workflow for regular orders, and how it impacts on the staff doing the work - are they putting othwr work aside to do rush orders etc. Do you have enough staff to cope with the faster order cycle etc.
