I can certainly second this sentiment. I have attended the last few years
and found it fun AND very useful (oth the main SEMC and the SERA sessions).

In fact, the only reason I am not going this year is that it is directly
opposite a major "dog and pony" event at the museum involving reunions of
several groups that served aboard our museum ships (and the week before a
trip to Massachusetts for the Historic Naval Ships meeting -- September and
October are such favorites for non-profit conferences that, if I went to
every one I should, I would not see my office for two months!!!)
