Hi all!
Adrienne: I know of three good museum science/studies graduate programs. One
is in Cooperstown, NY (not associated with Baseball Hall of Fame). The other
two are in Texas. The first is at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX - my
alma mater. It has general museum science program that includes collections
management and preventive conservation. It also allows students to
specialize their studies through electives and jobs as student assistants in
just about any department in the Museum of Texas Tech University, through
which the program is taught. More info. can be obtained at the museum's web
site - www.ttu.edu/~museum. Baylor University, in Waco, TX also has a museum
science program. Globalmuseum.com also has a museum training page on it that
lists training programs by location. Hope this helps!

-Chris Godbold :)
