Gallery Director, Chicago

For our internationally renowned Chicago gallery specializing in Art Nouveau
and Art Deco works on paper and decorative arts, we are seeking a Gallery
Director. The successful applicant will oversee all aspects of managing the
gallery including sales development; daily operations; invoicing, costs and
other financial-related tasks; client relations; the overseeing of 3
full-time staff (2 Sales Associates and a Preparator); other duties as
required. The ideal candidate will have strong familiarity and experience
with Art Nouveau and Art Deco works of art, relationships with collectors
and proven business building skills. 3-5 years experience in a gallery or
auction house and BA in art history required; MA preferred. An energetic
self-starter with excellent communications, organizational and managerial
skills is essential. Salary $85-100K DOE and excellent benefits and
