At my previous position, we gave behind-the-scenes tours on
Museum Day.  Each tour lasted from 15 minutes to 45 minutes,
depending on the content.The most popular was the tour that
showed the process of accepting a donation--from initial
paperwork to storage of the artifact.  Many people told me
that they had a better appreciation for the musem after
taking the tours.  Another popular tour was one that explained
the exhibit process.
