Does anyone know of Gold Panning championships in other countries?

In Wales, we have our own National Championship.

The Llywernog Silver Lead Mine Museum, near Aberystwyth, Wales, plays
hosts to the 1995 Welsh Gold Panning Championship on the 22 & 23 July,
1995. If you fancy really trying to strike it rich, come
