With my partner Bill West, we, at ART-ROM LTD. (a AAM member in good
standing), are in the process of compiling a VISUAL DATABASE of all U.S.
Museums & other Cultural Institutions of interest to the public, such
as: Zoos, Planetariums, Botanical Gardens, Aquariums, etc, etc...
 
The database is to be released very soon (Winter '95) in a CD-ROM
format.
 
Currently, we have close to 1,000 Museums participating in the project.
 
Due to a shortage of time, staff and money, we have to limit our current
endeavor to U.S. Museums. International editions will be released at a
later date.
 
As you all know, Museum people move at a charming, but slow pace.
 
Nothing wrong with that, but everything is structured, pigeon-holed, set
in its own ways, run by budgets, board and trustee meetings, and the
resulting framework of so many constraints congeals almost everything
into an ethereal, surreal slow-mo...tion.
 
As a result, your help is needed to stir the pot and spread the good
word.
 
If you are related to any of the above-mentioned Cultural Institutions,
could you check with your respective CEO, P/R & Marketing people and see
if they have mailed back to us their Participation Form.
 
IT'S FREE OF CHARGE. Museums may also want to better promote themselves
by adding color images. Four images will cost them $96.00 and they will
receive the first Museum Series CD-ROM gratis. An $89.95 value for free.
 
Hardly a get-rich-quick kind of a scheme on our part !!!
 
In a nutshell, we need your help. We want to release the first CD very
shortly and we do not want anybody to miss our December 30th deadline.

If you still feel negative about my commercial but honnest posting, what
can I say. There is little I can do about rigid mindsets.
