You bet.  You need to prepare budgets, set salaries, materials costs, costs
for outside teachers for workshops, lodging, transporation, food, etc. for
special events, costs for purchasing supplies and educational materials,
and so forth.  For grants you need to be able to track costs as well as
estimate future costs. It's invaluable!
