Hello fellow Listers-

A while back, I posted a message on the list regarding plans for a new
History Museum in San Francisco.  Thanks to all who responded.

Harry Parker, Director of Museums, publicly announced on November 14th
that the proposal for the new museum will be fully studied and discussed
by Trustees at the January board meeting; however, we are still in the
"feasibility" stage of the planning process. So, those of you who
responded with great interest in participating in the project should
keep an eye on the local paper.  Because we are a civic museum, this
process has been, and will be,open and very public.  If the proposal
passes and funding is solidified, contracts for outside work will most
likely be carried out through the city.

I will try to keep the list informed of any new developments.
