Behind the Scenes Tour

The Smithsonian Institution Museum Support Center houses the majority of the collections of the Department of Anthropology, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution.  See how these collections are accessed and cared for by the Anthropology Collections Management and Conservation Laboratory staff. This is a great chance to get a view of some of the wonderful pieces in Smithsonian holdings that are not normally on public display, as well as to learn how they are cared for and preserved.
