Position Summary

The Studio Museum in Harlem is looking for a highly motivated,
energetic
museum education professional to be responsible for administering the
day-
to-day function for The Studio Museum in Harlem s group tour program.

Responsibilities include

Leading tours in the Museum Galleries

Scheduling Group Tours

Daily administration including, compiling reports, keeping statistics
for
group tours, processing revenue for tours, documentation, etc.

Disseminating information about group tours to schools, colleges,
universities, and community organizations

Some weekend and evening hours necessary

Qualifications

BA/BFA in art, art history, art education, African American Studies, or
an
equivalent combination of education and experience in related fields.

Museum education experience

Strong organizational, communicating and administrative experience
required

Flexible and able to work with a team
