Just to clarify - the pink coat is not from fading - this was and is the 
original color - it was noted from the time the store here used this 
display that the Santa outfit was pink. (the whole outfit, hat, coat, 
pants are all a uniform pink except for places where there is staining 
from dirt/dust).

The fabric also is quite strong - I do not believe there is any chance 
of it falling into shreds.
