New guidelines announced for the Smithsonian's Fellowships in Museum Practice   

The Smithsonian Center for Education and Museum Studies invites proposals to its Year 2002 Fellowships in Museum Practice program.(FMP). The fellowship provides opportunities for scholars and practitioners to write manuscripts suitable for publication on issues of importance to the museum field while in residence at the SI.  The purpose of the program is to make  information on current issues and public policies generated from both academic sources and reflexive practice available more broadly and in more useful formats.  

Proposals are due by February 15, 2001 for projects beginning the following October 15.
