We really need your brief assistance!

I am currently working with a group of art librarians and
gallerists on publishing a list of New York City gallery exhibitions for
the entire century (to be published in the year 2001).

The source will be a simple listing, in chronological order, of as many
gallery exhibitions that we can find information on since the year 1900,
in Manhattan. The information is being pulled from various gallery
archives,vertical files, and exhibition listings in periodicals and
newspapers. The index will include artist and gallery names.

>From a marketing standpoint, we are wondering if museum personel would
find this to be a useful tool (particularly those of you within the New
York region).

I anticipate your critiques and opions (and they will be much
appreciated).
