I would be interested in realistic fake coal also - enough to fill a coal
scuttle. The only source I have found thus far is in small amounts in
Christmas stockings.

The McFaddin-Ward House is currently showing the exhibit "Moving In," which

McFaddin Avenue in January 1907. Call 409-832-2134 for tour information.

Subject: Source of fake coal and apples

Hello, all--I'm writing to see if someone can point me in the direction of a
place where I can purchase fake coal, the sort that looks more like
shiny black
rocks than the lumps we throw in our grills.

I'm also looking for a place where we can buy a bushel's worth of fake
apples.

Thank you as always for any assistance you can provide!

All best,
--
