     I missed your first message, so I apologize if I am repeating
     something you already know.  A few months ago on "Personal FX" -- a
     cable show on collectibles, they featured a so-called
     "super-collector" of hangers.  I believe the man was from Hawaii and
     he sure knew about hangers!  I would encourage you to contact the show
     directly to try to find the name and address of this person for more
     information.  You can probably find the phone number or e-mail on the
     FOX or FX Networks web site.

     Thanks to all who replied to my first query requesting historical
     information about clothes hangers. I'm following up on the valuable
     information and leads that resulted.

     In an attempt  to trace the evolution of this everyday device,  I'm
     still trying to determine
     if there are any collections of historical hangers somewhere and also
     if someone knows of any exhibition(s) of historic hangers that have
     been presented.
