Hi Gail,

Sounds like we are at the same stage as you are, if or when I come across anything I will let you know. If you have time to do the same that would be greatly appreciated! 

One interesting piece of info I have come across is that the Brooklyn Museum's iPhone app is now open source! This would work for a iPod touch as well.
