We allow photography at the Rankin House, as we have received no
instructions to the contrary (we have been told that our only fuction is to
conduct tours and sell souvenirs, implying that it is not "our place" to
get involved in other issues!); most visitors ask very politely if they may
take photos.  I am probably more concerned with potential damage done
during the filming of several documentaries over the past few years (done
for the History Channel, various PBS stations, etc.)
