July 31 is the last day to register at Early Bird rates for the
     Association of Science-Technology Centers' 1997 Annual
     Conference,"Learning Together: Gateways to Tomorrow," in St. Louis,
     October 18-21. Registering early saves $55 over the regular
     preregistration rates.

     Early Bird registration rates are:

      $345 ASTC member
      $400 nonmember
      $185 spouse (not in museum-related field)
      $185 student
