Hi there,
I am fairly new on the network and I am looking for a possibility co
contact fellow paper and photographic conservators. My collegue, Nina
Hesselberg-Wang (books and paper) and myself are conservators at the
University of Oslo Library in Norway. We both think that communication is
great and will be happy to know if there are more conservators on this
group or perhaps there is a separate group on conservation.
I'll be hapy if someone gave me a hint where to look. I work on Power Mac
and have Netscape.

P.S.I can also tell of a large digital database for 3.500 pictures
connected to the work and life of Fridtjof Nansen the norwegian humanist
and polar explorer. The base is experimentally tested on WWW and only in
norwegian at the moment. More info to follow if there is interest out
there.
