I wasn't aware that the Smithsonian's HR dept. even had a web page.  I
used to work for SI at the Air and Space Museum, and I know that the
Smithsonian produces an employment listing every Friday.  You can get this
listing sent to you as I once did.  Here's the number, (202) 287-3100 or
(202) 287-3102.  The latter, I believe, is the Voicelink or automated line
number.

Be aware that SI has had a tremendous number of cut backs, layoffs, and
buyouts since '95, even at the "professional" level.
