If the show is temporary, you might look into laminate sheets.  (Cleer-
Adhere is one brand; I'm sure there are others.)  These are basically 10" x
12" sheets of clear plastic, sticky on one side.  Peel off the back and
CAREFULLY cover your paper label.

Over time, little fingers will pick away at the edges and the corners will
curl up.  But they should be good for several weeks to a couple months.
