Actualy, David, it is pronounced like "ow," as in "ouch!" It is the
name of the man who started the collection. As to other funny names, I
used to know a veterinarian named Dr. Bone. :-) And I have tones of fun
with my own last name! My favorite way to help folks spell my name is
to say, "Pope, like the guy in Rome.")

I have to admit that this tickled my funny bone. "Towe" is a great
name for
an auto museum, depending on how it's pronounced. It reminds me of
the
plumbing company in this area named "Flood" (John Flood), not to
mention my
doctor, whose name is Hertzman, another doctor named Blood I once knew,
and my
favorite, a dentist whom my brother used to see: his name was Toothaker
(I kid
you not).

But if "Towe" isn't pronounced like "tow," just forget I said
anything.
