Several of our traveling exhibits, geared especially for small to mid-sized
museums, have last-minute openings  which are being offered at reduced

"Here Comes the Bride: Weddings in America"
This exhibit explores such themes as: courtships and engagements; weddings
in early America; 19th- and 20th-century wedding attire; decorations and
gifts; the ceremony; the honeymoon; royal weddings; ethnic customs; and
modern changes in weddings.

Opening: 6 August to September 17, 2005
Cost: $400 plus cost of shipment to the next venue
Other opening at $500 plus shipping available in late 2006


"What's Cookin'?  Two Centuries of American Foodways"
Satisfy your appetite for learning and fun with this exhibit on American
food history.  The exhibit explores such themes as: food in pre-industrial
America; the impact of immigration on food history; the ways the
availability of food has changed because of changes in technology; changes
in food preparation in the home; the increase in dining out; and changing
images of what constitutes healthy eating.

Openings: 20 August to 1 October, 2005, and 22 October to 10 December 2005
(note: double booking is possible)
Cost: $400 plus cost of shipment to the next venue
One opening at $500 plus shipping available in late 2006


"Let's Play: Pastimes from the Past"
This exhibit looks back at the ways Americans enjoyed their leisure time at
the turn of the 20th century. The 12 exhibit looks at such themes as: toys,
imaginative play, parlor games, the return to nature, the fitness craze, the
role of organized sports, the rise of the sportswoman, America on wheels,
costumes for play, and the "disease of spectatoritis."
Opening: 26 November, 2005, to 7 January 2006
Cost: $400 plus cost of shipment to the next venue
Other openings at $500 plus shipping available in both early and late 2006
(some double bookings available)
