Amy -- I've worked on exhibitions where we've mounted the books on a
clipboard-like piece of sintra (a hard, durable plastic), slightly larger
than the book, with enough room at the top for a hand-sized opening.  The
opening serves as a handle and also enables you to hang the book on a hook.
The mounting makes the book a bit more cumbersome to read but also harder
to walk away with.  Jane
