The difference in restauration can be seen in various museums, in Germany
there are some private collections of this kind which are commercial
organisations living from the profit. There you find most of the machines
looking brandnew, new paint and everything polished, it couldt mostly be
a specimen of the producing companies museum.
Such an item tells nothing about the hard work for which it was built and
used for, the work is in my opinion the interesting part which should be
"conserved" and described, you'll have to chosse between a machine museum
or perhaps an agricultural museum.
kind regards
