Hi Jim. What units are these measures in? Are they pure counts, or hits?
The difference being that *web-counters* count the number of times a
specific web page is accessed, and hits measure the number of file
transfers for visit. In other words, a single visit to a homepage is one
on the web counter, but if that homepage consists of an HTML file and two
image files then the same single visit would count as 3 hits. Just
wondering if all these measures are in the same units.

: Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County ~500
: Academy of Natural Sciences ~300
: Bishop museum ~900
: Carnegie Museum of Natural History ~50
: Chicago Academy of Sciences ~200
: Field Museum ~3000
: UC Berkeley Museum of Paleontology ~10000
: Smithsonian Museum of NH ~2000
