Please excuse for any cross-posting. This information is sent to
different lists.

The 'Vlaamse Vereniging voor Industrial Archaeology' (Flemish
Association for Industrial Archaeology) was established in 1978 and thus
celebrates its 20th birthday this year.... The association is the oldest
i.a. organisation in Belgium, and one of the oldest in Europe. It
actually has some 500 individual members, and almost 40 affiliated local
and thematic associations and groups.
Therefore the association decided to invest time and efforts in setting
up an industrial archaeology website.
A small webspace was already in use, but now the association
considerably updated and enlarged the site. It offers information on the
association, the affiliated groups, industrial archaeology in Flanders,
etc. The main information is in Dutch, but part of the website has
already been translated into English, French, German, Spanish and
Esperanto. More languages are announced, and more pages will be
translated gradually during the next weeks and months.
The website also offers an impressive (!!!) list of links to industrial
and technical heritage websites (mainly in Euirope), and the association
is trying to enlarge this list. Please visit the website and email us
the URLs of industrial heritage websites that aren't yet been included.

You can find the website of the Flemish Association for Industrial
Archaeology at:
