If you have been involved in a library and museum partnership please
write to me and let know exactly how the partnership was formed, what
programs were promoted and what successes and challenges resulted
from the partnership.

I am constructing a thesis project partnering DC public libraries with DC
area museums and galleries. The branch libraries will lead art theme
storytimes which will then be followed by a visit to a local museum to
further explore the designated art themes. I need examples and
success stories of previously established library and museum
partnerships. One example is the Marlboro Public Library, located near
Boston, MA, Musuem Pass Program which distributes passes to local museums
to all library card holders.

I would be happy to share my research and findings with anyone
interested. I am planning to put up a Web page so that the information
will be easily accessible.

Thanks in advance for your input and information,
Jennifer Bransom
