 Gee, since when are humorists (or artists, for that matter) qualified
to rate their own work? (Ask any standup comic.) Anyway, the trouble is,
there are both humor-impaired receivers as well as transmitters. And
humor-impaired transmitters are very prone to calling their audiences
humor-impaired, until they begin to learn a little more about what the
average person finds funny or not funny. --David Haberstich
