Dear Ms. Carr,
I was forwarded your message regarding the difficulty you have been facing in finding conservation assistance. The AIC strives to provide as many references (names and numbers of professional conservators who are eligible for the Guide list) as possible and iwe feel it is an important function. Your input as to the nature of the difficulty you are having would be extremely useful as we continue to update and enhance this service. I assure you that your response would be held in confidence. My effort is to make improvements in the Guide wherever I can.

Looking forward to hearing from you
Jerry Podany
President, AIC.

We are in need of some conservation assistance in the Washington DC area - -
I have contacted numerous conservators from a list provided by AIC as well
as several recommended by colleagues but am having a difficult time getting
someone on board. The project, which is described below, is being funded and
has a deadline, so any and all help or suggestions will be appreciated -
please reply off-list.

PROJECT - 12 (twelve) original pencil and watercolor drawings on bristol
board with varying levels of water and mold damage. The majority of the
damage is on the edges, although there is some damage to the image which we
would like restored. The boards measure and average of 40" x 60", with the
images measuring a maximum of 32" x 55".

Thanks for any help!
