Position: Rolling Rainforest Manager

Washington, DC-based Children’s Museum, engaged in providing informal,
environmental education to children in the public schools, seeks
entrepreneurial, creative individual with marketing background to manage
mobile exhibit.  This position is responsible for designing and
implementing a marketing plan that will ensure the economic sustainability
of a unique, mobile teaching tool.  Individual must be able to identify
and cultivate potential sponsors/funders.  Works with Education Assistant
to oversee development of educational programs.

Qualifications include:
Experience marketing and managing educational products
Ability to managing people
Exceptionally strong communication skills, and high energy level
Ability to work well as part of team
Bachelor’s degree in related field (education or science) required:
Master’s preferred.

This is an exceptional opportunity to create and implement a marketing
campaign and strategy that will contribute to the branding of an extremely
important community resource.

This is a full-time position, with some weekend and evening work required.
