Pennsylvania AmeriCorps Team CIVIC: Cultural Institutions and Volunteers Invigorating Communities

Applications are being accepted immediately for positions in community development, cultural tourism, educational programming, historic preservation, historical research, public history, landscape architecture, public relations, and urban planning.  Team CIVIC is leading the way in getting culturally central organizations in community outreach efforts by bringing the benefits of AmeriCorps programming to Pennsylvania Communities.  Team CIVIC participants work on programs to develop and strengthen the civic role of cultural institutions in their communities through civic projects built on outreach and volunteerism.  

Team CIVIC participants work for a year (1800) in positions that promise good professional experience, training opportunities, and an Education Award.

Positions with PA AmeriCorps Team CIVIC are limited to U.S. citizens, people with less than two years of national Community Service, and people with a BA degree or higher
