Director, Maritime Museum of the Atlantic

The Nova Scotia Museum is looking for an experienced, dynamic museum professional to fill the position of Director, Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. The Director is responsible for all aspects of the operation, management, development and maintenance of the Museum, one of the 25 museums that make up the Nova Scotia Museum.

Candidates must have a Master's degree or equivalent in a related field; management experience at a senior level in a museum or related field; demonstrated financial, administrative, planning, project management, communication and human resources skills. Extensive experience in and knowledge of museum work and knowledge of maritime history are essential. The ideal candidate will have the stature and imitative to lead and motivate a creative team of professionals.
