CALL FOR PROPOSAL

Archeological Collections Professional Service
Proposal Documents #430-821

Dear Prospective Proposer:

The Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County, Washington, herein
referred to as District, will receive sealed proposals at the Hydro
Engineering Office until 2:30 P.M. local time, on Monday,  December 18,
2000, for furnishing all services specified in the above described
Archeological Collections Professional Service Proposal Documents.

A complete set of the Proposal Documents, including all appendices and
attachments will be provided only to potential proposers that meet the
following minimum criteria:

Masters degree (MA, MS) in Museum studies, Library science, Art history,
Anthropology or closely related field required or equivalent combination of
education and experience.  Candidate will also have a background in museum
collection management databases; knowledge of and experience with Microsoft
Access a must. Minimum two years experience in Museum registration;
knowledge of object handling.  Strong knowledge of Collection Management
lexicon issues; knowledge of AAT and Chenhall nomenclature is required.
Experience with digital imaging.  Ability to provide support to users of
varying skill and experience.  Ability to bring museum staff on board with
repository database system and to provide support to users of varying skill
and experience.


Your Proposal should be prepared in strict accordance with the format and
services required in these documents.  A Signature Certification Form, and
Appendix ‘A’ Form are also enclosed as part of these documents for your use
in the preparation and submission of your Proposal.  To be considered
responsive, all proposals must be submitted, be properly executed, and be
received by the District prior to the above reference bid receipt deadline.

Please sign, date, and return the acknowledgement form as soon as practical
after receipt of these documents.
