I am the curator at a large historic site and looking for 'reproduction'
costume patterns based on authentic clothing primarily for the 1840-1860
period so that we can make costumes for interpretation work. (Most
others in this position use good sewing people that can work from
illustrations but our isolation and budget constraints do not allow us
this obvious advantage).
Suggestions like that of Francis Grimble for the Edwardian period are
also useful.
Thanks
