I believe the original specimen is under lock and key in Kenya, being a
national treasure. I know the Museums at Blackhawk have a cast of the
original which is on loan from what was formerly known as the Lowe
Museum, now the Phoebe Hearst Museum of Anthropology at U.C. Berkeley.
I'm sure someone at U.C. Berkeley has email. If you wish to contact the
Museums at Blackhawk they are still using snail mail, however, you
could telephone Dan Dunn at (510) 736-2280, ext 224. Dan is in charge
of the "Summer Dig" program at the museum and should know of the proper
contact at U.C.

Good Luck.

Larry
