re insect detector traps: University Products, Holyoke MA, has them in their
catalog.  Their phone is 1-800-628-1912.   (we haven't tried the product--we
sent a bunch of dead bugs found in our historic house to the state university
extension service--we got enough bad news that I wasn't motivated to seek
more...)
