I'm looking for a realistic substitute for salmon eggs for use in an exhibit
on pre-contact painting materials and techniques of the Native people of
Southeast Alaska.

I don't want to use preserved eggs commonly used by fishermen for obvious
reasons and the only synthetics I have been able to locate (in fishing
tackle stores) are flourescent colored.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
