Position Announcement:

Ass't Dir of Interpretation & Education/Lead Interpreter.

Exp. museum professional to assist the director of the dept of
Interpretation & Education with implementing multi-generational
programs.  Duties of this full-time, year-round position include:
scheduling & supervision of 45-50 seasonal interpretive staff and
volunteers; staff and volunteer training; historical research; ensuring
the in-season daily program is managed properly - historically accurate,
educational, customer service oriented, enjoyable, enriching.
Bachelor's degree in history, museum studies, or related field.  Strong
organizational, interpersonal, communication, supervisory, and
management skills.  Must be a team player.  Flexible schedule, regular
weekend duty. Computer literacy.  Salary range 18,000 - 20,000 plus
